Day #2 has the folks in the shop screaming to get things done fast. By mid day I received a phone call from Steve who was concerned about my proposal to salvage the tailgate from the accident. Unfortunately this is a no-go as the internal damage required more work than anticipated. The work could be done for sure but it would steal away valuable time that could be spent in other areas after simply ordering a new tail gate.
During that phone call I was also informed that the truck is now ready for paint, which in this case is going to be a nice coat of Olive Drab Green MONSTALINER!
In conjunction with the olive drab skin, the vehicle will have the Tac-Tote logo in the color Pantone 137 as well as all of the other companies who were willing to participate in supporting the product and/or the platform for their demonstrations. (No more bone breaking allowed).
Day three will see even more progress of which even I have no knowledge of. I gave a deadline and I am staying the heck out of their way if I cannot be there in person.
Not gonna lie, this is freaking me out just a little bit. LOL
Going as fast as they can.
